OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT RULES

Game-time is 4 x 8 minutes and time standing during the free throws and time-outs.

Last quarter of the game will be played effective time.

The lenght of the break between each quarter time is 1 minute.

Each team may have a one time-out in every quarter!

Team fouls will be full after 4 fouls, after 5th foul starts the free throws.

If the game is even in the end of the game time, the overtime will be played by “sudden death”principle.

Overtime will be started with a jump ball.

COMPETITION SYSTEM

In the group stage, the teams are divided into several groups, to provide the best tournament format for age groups. 5 games are guaranteed for every team. In the group stage win gives 2 points, loss 1 point and forfit gives 0 point.
In case of equal points in the group stage, the final position is given by as ;

• winner of the game between teams who have same number of game points
• 3 and more teams, amount of points difference (+/-) of the games between each other
• most thrown baskets between the games of each other
• most thrown baskets of all age group games
• drawing

PROTEST

Protest must be submitted in writing form by a team coach no later than 20 minutes after the end of the protested game.
Protest has to be submitted to the secretariate of the venue.
Protest processing fee is 50 EUR (will be refunded if the protest is accepted).

AWARDS

First three teams of each age group will be awarded with trophies and medals. Additionally MVP players will be selected from each team, as well from each age group.

INSURANCE /MEDICAL AID

Please make sure that all your players are insured both on and off the playing field, tournament organizer will not take any responsibility for injuries, which happen during the basketball tournament. There will be medical persons in each venue providing first aid.
